While you're visiting the website, notifications will pop up automatically. If you click on it, you'll be taking to the right page and the notification will be marked as read automatically.
If you click on your avatar in the navigation bar, a menu will appear. You can click on the "Notifications" link to go to your overview. In this overview, all notifications are grouped chronologically by the item it is refering to.
Once you click on a notification, it will be marked as read. You can also mark the whole day as read once you're done reviewing them. If you want, you can always show the "read" items by clicking the button at the top.
